UNS C38500 architectural bronze alloys are annealed between 427 and 593°C (800 and 1100°F).
Cold Working
UNS C38500 bronze alloys have poor cold working capacity.
Welding
Brazing and soldering processes are recommended for UNS C38500 bronze alloys. Welding processes not recommended for these alloys include spot welding, gas shielded arc welding, seam welding, coated metal arc welding and oxyacetylene welding
Forging
UNS C38500 bronze alloys can be forged between 621 and 732°C (1150 and 1350°F).
